Imagine a sunny summer weekend day and all these boats would be out on the pond, with residents and visitors enjoying time in the Parc de la Ciutadella (Citadel Park). You might guess that since all the boats are bunched up here that it was not a sunny summer day but a somewhat dreary winter day when I visited! But it made for some interesting lines and shapes maybe more so than if it had been a summer day!
